THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Jayakumar, RSS Sampark Pramukh responded that this is not the first time in Kerala that an ADGP is meeting an authority of the RSS. Jayakumar responded after ADGP M R Ajith Kumar’s meeting with RSS leaders led to a political controversy and the government announcing a probe following that. He said the RSS had always interacted with officials and public workers and will continue doing it.

‘Ajith Kumar informed the government that it was a private visit. Calling on prominent people will continue and if a notice of the police is obtained or not for taking statement, the people will slowly understand the contents of the meetings. It has been a system since the early days of the organization that senior officials of the RSS are met informally by public servants and officials to share ideas and clear doubts. If taken the list of the people who have come here and have gone there and exchanged ideas, there will be tens of thousands of people from prime ministers, presidents, civil servants to ordinary people.

This is not the first time that an ADGP meeting an authority of the RSS in Kerala. Many IPS officers, IAS officers and even Chief Secretaries in service today have had private conversations with the RSS leadership. Many of them have visited RSS offices. If notices are sent to identify officials who met RSS leaders with him, the government will have to start a new department for that,’ said Jayakumar.
