MALAPPURAM: Malappuram MLA P V Anwar clarified that the government in Kerala should solve the problems faced by the youth. It is not a good attitude to criticize instead of solving the problems mentioned in the letter, said Anwar while talking to the media in Malappuram.
‘'Didn't I say that the general meeting would turn a revolution? Isn't that what is happening now? The youth of Kerala are disappointed. They flee abroad in search of better opportunities. The government has been trying to solve this issue for the past few days. Not every youth in Kerala can afford to spend huge sums of money to go to UK or Canada. Majority of them go after pledging their own houses.
The situation in Canada is changing. The chances of the government accepting foreigners are also decreasing. The flow of students is the problem. The borrowers will return then. This is the next emerging problem in Kerala. The government should address the issues of the youth instead of attacking me. All these have been explained in detail in my letter.
LDF convener said that my activities are not as per the party norms. As a public servant, I observe everything. I don’t value much of his words. The issues of youths should be solved. The youths now believe political activity is a bad thing. There should be a government that can fulfill all the needs of the youth professionally.
I have not called even a single panchayat member to attend the public function. I will speak alone. There are a few reasons for that. If I decide today, 25 panchayats will go out from the hands of the LDF. Not only Nilambur will go. If the party is ready for the challenge, I am also ready for it. The administration of many panchayats in the districts of Malappuram, Kozhikode and Palakkad will go out from their hands. The party then should decide whether to go for it. People loving me are in 140 constituencies.
I have not disregarded the party till now. I informed the chief minister about the lapses from the side of the Kerala police. The chief minister then tried to make me a thief without solving the problem. I will not tolerate that. For the last two days Malappuram district secretary E V Mohandas has been trying to make me a religious communalist. He belittled me at first. The CPM leadership is behind all this.
I have to prove that I am not a communalist. I am not here to form a political party alone. If people become a party, then I will be in it. 1.2 million people responded to yesterday's survey. 90% of it was positive responses. I have no selfish interests; people listen to what I say now. I know people will decrease; I am talking after understanding all this.
P Sasi has a role in the smuggling of gold. This cannot be done only with a SP alone. If wants to deal me with case etc, then let it be. The chief minister's response to the allegations raised by him in the gold smuggling case is not in his senses.
I will not attend the assembly session in the first two days. Will attend it only after holding more public meetings. I believe my chair will be there. Otherwise will sit on the ground.
