KOCHI: The Supreme Court has granted bail to actor Siddique in the sexual misconduct case. On being granted bail, celebrations are in full swing in front of the actor’s house. Sweets are being distributed to the passengers of vehicles and locals. The sweets are distributed saying, 'Our Siddique Sir has got bail from Supreme Court'. Interim bail was granted to the actor this afternoon, barring arrest for two weeks.

The person who was distributing the sweet told media that Siddique is our neighbor and a resident of this area. 'Siddique did nothing wrong, this was done to crucify him. He will be proved innocent later. Let the case go on. We are 100 percent sure that he did nothing wrong. He has been closely associated with us for 10-30 years. He was granted bail by the Supreme Court,' he said.

The Supreme Court granted bail subject to conditions. The trial court can decide what the conditions are. The Supreme Court has stayed his arrest for two weeks. Siddique approached the Supreme Court after the high court denied anticipatory bail in the case.

The Supreme Court will consider the case again after two weeks. The arrest was stayed subject to the conditions laid down by the trial court. Taking into account the delay in filing the complaint, the court has now issued an interim order. The court also asked what the state has been doing for the last eight years. The court reprimanded those who tried to be a party in the case. The court said that they have nothing to do with the case.
