THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM party workers and cyber comrades are already in a foray giving fierce retort to MLA P V Anvar. Amidst this, concern still looms over the positive impact generated by Anvar among party cadres through his bombastic revelations.

The party is also bothered about the surreptitious support Anvar is getting from party members. While CM Pinarayi Vijayan earlier dismissed any investigation against political secretary P Sasi, CPM state secretary M V Govindan told otherwise in Delhi on Monday. It is not clear whether any investigation will be conducted using the party's organizational structure.

When CM Pinarayi Vijayan lauded P Sasi for his ‘exemplary work’ and dismissed Anvar’s allegations as baseless the message was clear. Nobody points a finger at Sasi.

A party inquiry usually consists of a team of two or three party members. CPM has not yet announced any such but may likely announce one, mostly to track down imposters within the party supporting Anvar.

Anvar breaking all nous of amicability lashed out against CM Pianrayi Vijayan in strong words on Sunday. Despite many reactions from senior leaders, CPM has noticed the withering spirit within cadres when it comes to defending CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Party veteran Dr. Thomas Isaac maintained a stoic silence, yet again appalling the leadership.

Politburo member A. Vijayaraghavan, the man responsible for Anvar’s induction into the left front, also offered a weak response that failed to meet its purpose. KT Jaleel, the LDF dark horse who shook the Muslim league bastion in Malappuram, is at odds with the red party. Jaleel's autobiography will be released on October 2 where he is expected to announce his political future.

Jaleel has already announced his retirement from electoral politics. To his close associates, Jaleel has given sly hints about his political future which will be made public on October 2.
