THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The special team investigating the allegations against ADGP M R Ajith Kumar is holding an emergency meeting at the police headquarters. The meeting is ahead of submitting the investigation report. The meeting is being held under the leadership of the state police chief. IG Sparjan Kumar, DIG Thomson Jose, SPs Shanavas and Madhusoodanan are also attending the meeting. The information received is that the report will be submitted this evening.

A report related to the complaints of Nilambur MLA P V Anvar and the meeting of RSS leaders should be submitted. The deadline for the investigation had ended the other day. One month's time was given for the investigation. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had earlier said that action will be taken after getting the report.

Meantime, a case was filed against Anvar again on the complaint of leaking official information. The Manjeri Police registered the case on the complaint of Malappuram Areekode Special Operation Group Superintendent. Anvar alleged that phone was leaked for Ajith Kumar and Malappuram SP Sujith Das in Areekode camp. It has been registered in the FIR that Anvar leaked official secrets. A case has been registered under the Official Secrets Act and the IT Act based on the remarks made by Anvar in the press meet.
