The new lyric video from the upcoming movie ‘Bougainvillea’ directed by Amal Neerad starring Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Jyothirmayi was released on Sunday. As expected, the song entered the trending list with many praising Jyothirmayi.

Actress Rima Kallingal also came forward singing paeans on Jyothirmayi, for the swag she brought to the song. However, this Instagram post didn’t bode well with a user who engaged in a heated exchange with Rima over the topic of nepotism.

“It is sad that nepotism still finds space in Mollywood. Isn’t she the wife of the director? And please also check the director and actress of the 2023 movie ‘Neelavelicham’. Such double standards and hypocrisy.” Commented one user.

“It is amusing how men will dictate these patriarchal terms while women don’t care a damn about it. We love men who understand this. Please check about who Jyothirmanyi is and check her past. Bad luck for men like you, please cry harder” replied Rima Kallingal.

Meanwhile, 'Bougainvillea' is produced by Jyothimayi and Kunchacko Boban under the banner of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures. The movie will be released on October 17.
