KOCHI: The police may issue a notice today to twenty people, including film stars, who attended the drug party organised by notorious gangster Om Prakash at a star hotel in Kochi. These twenty people will be asked to appear for questioning. Police have completed procedures including a forensic examination at the hotel in Kundannoor. Actors Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin are among the prominent personalities facing the probe. After questioning the twenty people, the police will once again question Om Prakash.
Meanwhile, Prayaga Martine told a media outlet yesterday that baseless facts are being circulated about her. She had also posted an Instagram story mocking the news coming out alleging her involvement in the drug party.
The forensic team inspected the hotel at around 11 am on Tuesday, A person named Bobby Chalapathi had booked three rooms for Om Prakash. It is reported that the police have obtained crucial information during the inspection. The sealed rooms were later handed over to the hotel management. Earlier, Omprakash and his associate Shihas were arrested as zip-lock bags used to store cocaine and premium liquor bottles were found in the hotel room during the inspection conducted on Saturday night.
During the investigation, it became clear that a drug party had taken place, and evidence was found showing that Sreenath Bhasi, Prayaga Martin, and others were present. City Police Commissioner Putta Vimaladitya told Kerala Kaumudi that instructions have been given to record statements from all of them soon. The police have already collected a lot of information. It is said that Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin do not know Om Prakash.
