FLORIDA: Millions of people have been relocated to safer places in the US following Hurricane Milton. There are strong winds and rain in Florida's coastal areas. According to weather forecasters, the storm has made landfall in the city of Siesta Key in the United States. With this, six airports in the country were closed and around 2,000 flight services were cancelled. The announcement is that there is a possibility of floods and flash floods following the storm.

Milton made landfall as Category 3 hurricane with winds of 160 km/h. Wind speed up to 205 kmph is possible. A state of emergency has been declared in Florida to deal with Milton. The International Space Station captured the violent manifestations of the Milton wind the other day. After the footage was shared on X, the world is watching winds with a lot of fear.

Milton is predicted to be the most powerful storm since Hurricane Rita in 2005. Milton came in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which wreaked havoc in Florida and surrounding areas. Hurricane Helen has claimed more than 160 lives in the southeastern states of the United States. 73 people died in North Carolina alone.
