He has a net worth of $119 billion (Rs 11.90 lakh crore). Adani Group, led by Gautam Adani, is in second place with a net worth of $108 billion. Ambani is also ranked 13th globally. Seven Malayalees have been included in the list of the country's top 100 millionaires.
The Muthoot family ranks first among Malayali rich people. Muthoot has assets worth Rs 65,499 crore. Muthoot is ranked 37th among the richest people in the country. It has improved from 43rd place in last time's list and crossed 6 places. Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusafali, who was the first from Kerala earlier in this list, is now in the second position with 62,142 crores in assets. Meanwhile, Yusafali still holds the top spot in personal wealth.
Lulu Group Chairman Yusafali is ranked 39th in India and 412th globally. TS Kalyana Raman, Managing Director of Kalyan Jewellers, has a net worth of $5.5 billion (Rs 46,186 crore). Chris Gopalakrishnan, who is ranked 73rd among the richest people in India, is the fourth richest Malayali with a net worth of $4.3 billion (Rs 36,325 crore).
Kalyan Group is ranked 60th in the country and Chris Gopalakrishnan is ranked 73rd. Sunny Varkey, head of leading education chain Gem Education, is ranked fifth with a net worth of $3.5 billion (Rs 29,200 crore). Sunny Varkey is the 95th richest person in India. Ravi Pillai, the head of the RP Group, is right behind at the 97th position. Ravi Pillai has a net worth of $3.4 billion (approximately Rs. 28,390 crore).
The seventh Malayali in the top 100 is Joy Alukkas Group Chairman Joy Alukas. Joy Alukas, who is at the 98th position in India's richest list, has a net worth of Rs 28,140 crore.
