Kochi City Police Commissioner Putta Vimaladitya said that film stars are not involved in the drug case related to the goonda leader. Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin had visited the hotel where Omprakash was staying in Kundannoor.

The police had earlier questioned two film stars. The police said that the preliminary conclusion is that the film stars are not involved in the case and more people will be questioned in the case. Om Prakash's accomplice Shihas had also organised a drug party at a hotel in Kundannoor and was subsequently arrested.

Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin were ready to give blood samples for drug abuse for testing, but the police concluded it was not necessary. Meanwhile, the police have identified places including big-star hotels where Om Prakash stays at when he reaches Kochi. Om Prakash and his gang used to take rooms in star hotels for big drug cartels and their parties.

According to the police, apart from luxury hotels in Kochi, drug parties are organised in luxury flats also. According to the police, a portion of the proceeds from the drug parties were given to the flat owners and office-bearers of the association.
