KOCHI: In a disturbing incident, a woman stabbed her husband to death in Kochi on Sunday. Arakkal Joseph (Ochan, 52), the owner of Nayarambalam St. George Catering, died in the incident. Monika (Preeti, 45) was arrested by Njarakkal police.

The shocking incident happened at 7 pm on Sunday. The couple were going through a divorce and were living separately. Joseph lived with his family while the catering business functioned at Preeti’s residence. On Sunday, the two engaged in a heated argument which ended with Preeti piercing a knife through Joseph’s chest.

The workers at the catering service rushed Joseph to a nearby hospital but he couldn’t be saved. The dead body has been shifted to Ernakulam general hospital mortuary.
