Director Alleppey Ashraf revealed an incident where a famous actress of the Malayalam film industry was subjected to a gangrape. The incident happened in USA; Ashraf revealed this in his YouTube channel.

‘I will tell you a painful story that happened to a famous Malayalam heroine who was trapped in the midst of a pack of wolves like the ordeal of the actress assaulted by Pulsar Suni and his gang.

I was the first to take mimicry to America in 1982. I had a small troupe including me, Baby Shalini and Rohini. We got a chance to present a programme in America. It was a great success. Thara Arts Vijayan was the sponsor of the programme. He had been conducting programmes every year since the time of Thikurissi Sukumaran Nair.

Vijayettan is the only living witness to the incident I am going to narrate here. She was an actress who had acted with Nazir Sir. She had also acted in films of other languages. She was a leading actress who had many fans. When I was in college, her film attracting youth was a big hit.

That time she got a phone call from America. Spoke in Hindi and English. The caller said they are doing a film there. The shooting started. He asked if she could join the film as a leading role. He also said that the director insisted on casting her. She believed them and promised to do the role. Spoke about the deal. They asked her to join immediately. They arranged the sponsorship and visa. She went to America. She was received at the airport and taken to a flat in New York. They provided all the necessary facilities there. They asked her to freshen up.

Two came drunk in the evening. After seeing their behavior, the actress realized that she was in a trap. They tried to abuse her. They were actually not filmmakers. They all belonged to an underworld gang in New York City. According to the information given by the heroine, understood the building. Vijayettan asked her to come from there. He picked her and dropped her at the New York airport and sent her back. This incident may seem unbelievable, but this is hundred percent true,' he said.
