PATHANAMTHITTA: In a Facebook post, BJP state president K Surendran extended support to ADM Naveen Babu’s family and vehemently asked the government to punish the culprits responsible for ADM’s suicide.

K SURENDRAN:

“The view from Malayalayapuzha is heart-wrenching. Even a thousand dips into the holy Ganges will not wash away the sins within those responsible for the ADM’s death. He was a humble and honest government official.

No matter who the culprits are or how high their social status is, the government is duty-bound to bring them into the open. The government, the police and the judiciary should take the initiative. This inquiry should be conducted under the supervision of a sitting judge. Until justice, we will stand with the family of the ADM.”

Meanwhile, the body of Naveen Babu was cremated at his residence in Malayalapuzha. As per request, his children Nirupama and Niranjana performed the last rites. Colleagues, relatives and locals paid their last respects with many failing to hold their tears.
