PALAKKAD: P Sarin, who previously criticized the CPM from a political standpoint, expressed confidence in the possibility of a third Pinarayi Vijayan-led government in Kerala. Speaking to a channel, Sarin stated that the public would understand his decision to switch political allegiances and appreciate that it was made for the right reasons.
"The people will know who is making deals with whom. My stance has shifted some seats. I see this as an opportunity to carry out my political mission with dignity. I am stepping into a challenging role to help present a third LDF government. What can the Congress say to ask for votes? They are merely saying that the CPM is bad. What is the standard for that statement?" Sarin questioned.
He shared that people have started addressing him as "comrade," a label he now embraces with happiness. Sarin also reiterated his hopes for the political success of the CPM. Additionally, he addressed the cyberattack targeting his wife, Soumya, calling the incident unfortunate.
In related news, NP Sudheer, the Democratic Movement of Kerala (DMK) candidate from the Chelakkara constituency, expressed his dissatisfaction with the Congress. He cited ongoing neglect, stating that he was repeatedly overlooked by the party when he deserved recognition. Sudheer added that he could no longer tolerate such treatment.
