Malayalam actor Jayaram, a beloved figure among Malayalees and known for his versatility across languages including Tamil, has recently gone viral on social media for remarks he made during a Tamil awards event.

While Jayaram was on stage, a series of pictures featuring some of his co-stars was displayed, prompting him to share fond memories. When the image of actress Saritha appeared—his co-star in the film ‘Julie Ganapathi’—the actor expressed a lingering sense of regret.

"It always brings sadness," Jayaram said. "There’s no need to explain Sarita Ma’am's immense talent but it is deeply unfortunate that she has yet to receive a National Award. I always believed that every scene in Julie Ganapathi deserved one. Watching the film still leaves me with that feeling of disappointment," he added.
