KOLLAM: A youth committed suicide after hacking a woman to death. She has been identified as Sharu of S N Puram. Lalumon, the youth who hacked the woman to death was later found hanging. The bodies were found in Lalumon’s house at Puthoor Vallabankara in Kollam.

The two were in a relationship for quite some time. Lalumon arrested in a case earlier for tying Sharu in a rubber plantation two years back, was remanded. The locals said that he invited her home and then killed her. She sustained hack injuries on her head and hands. The Puthoor police have started an investigation.
