KANNUR: New reports emerging have raised doubts about the complaint filed by petrol pump owner Prasanthan against ADM Naveen Babu. More documents prove Prasanthan’s allegations of ADM delaying NOC to the pump in Chengalayi, as false.
In the applicant form for the petrol pump, the name written is as Prasanth but in the complaint filed to CM Pinarayi Vijayan, the name has been changed to Prasanthan. The signatures on both the documents are different. This has now opened new doors into the case with doubts turning rampant about the conspiracy involved.
In the lease agreement for the petrol pump, the name is mentioned as Prasanth TV. However, in the complaint given to the Chief Minister, the name was tweaked to Prasanthan TV. More doubts also emerge about Prasanthan’s role as a benami to some within the top echelons of power. Ambiguity loomed from the start of the case as many deemed it impossible for Prasanthan, an electrician at Kannur Medical College, to amass money and start a petrol pump that required crores of investment.
Amidst this comes the new documents, strengthening the hitherto held doubts regarding the case.
