KOZHIKODE: In a shocking incident, a youth was found tied inside a car. The incident took place in Kattilpeedika in Elathur, Kozhikode. The youth said that a gang robbed him of Rs 25 lakhs and tied him inside the car. The assailants had sprinkled chilli powder on the body and face of the young man.

According to the police, the youth was travelling alone in the car when the group, including a woman, asked him for a lift. After entering the car, the group assaulted him and grabbed his ATM card after sprinkling chilli powder on his face. The accused then drew money using the ATM card and left the youth tied inside the car.
