Ryuta Watanabe, a 36-year-old man from Hokkaido, has gained attention on social media for his unconventional lifestyle. After being unemployed for the past 10 years, Ryuta has declared his ambition to become the "God of Marriage." Despite not officially registering any of his marriages, Ryuta currently has four wives and two girlfriends, all of whom live with him and he plans to set a world record for the most marriages.
Ryuta, who has 10 children, says his goal is to father 56 children. At present, he lives with three of his wives and two of his children in the same household, sharing responsibilities much like a traditional family. While Ryuta handles most of the housework, including cooking and childcare, their family’s monthly expenses amount to approximately 9,14,000 yen (₹5 lakh), which are entirely covered by his wives and girlfriends.
His romantic relationships began after his previous girlfriend left him six years ago. Since then, Ryuta has used dating apps to find new partners, including his current wives and girlfriends. He insists that his wives and girlfriends share a harmonious bond, loving each other deeply.
In an interview with a Japanese television channel, Ryuta expressed his desire to continue expanding his family, as he works towards his dream of becoming the "God of Marriage."
