THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran indirectly inviting Congress leader K Muraleedharan to the party the other day, had grabbed headlines. Now Muraleedharan has come forward with a response on it. He clarified that Surendran's statement is a joke and that he would never join hands with the BJP. He added that if the party ignores him, will retire from politics. He asked not to drag his mother into the incidents.

K Surendran made such a statement the other day. Surendran asked why K Muraleedharan is continuing in the Congress after enduring insult. I sympathize for him. Surendran alleged that he is seeking votes for the person, who insulted his own mother.

‘The issues in Palakkad can be discussed later. P V Anwar has influence in Wayanad. So, he will cooperate to garner five lakh votes. Anwar has no influence in Palakkad and Chelakkara. The Congress will not change candidates here. Anwar has not given a letter to withdraw the candidates. Will go for electioneering in Wayanad. Have not decided to campaign in Palakkad and Chelakkara. Neither agrees nor disagrees with Anwar. Even if Govindan Mash says he will give votes tomorrow, will accept it. The issues will be discussed after November 23rd,’ Muraleedharan told media.
