WASHINGTON: Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump is once again leading the US presidential election predictions. A Decision Desk HQ-The Hill survey gives Trump a 52 per cent chance of winning.
Democratic candidate Kamala Harris now has a 42 per cent chance of a win. It is said that Trump has improved performance in the decisive states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina. Of the seven states (Battleground State) where Democrats and Republicans have equal support, the survey indicates that Kamala has a lead only in Pennsylvania.
Till the end of August, Kamala thrived with a 54- 56 percent probability of a win, while Trump's probability was reduced to 44-46 percent. The numbers have now turned upside down. The election is on November 5.
