ALAPPUZHA: Thomas K Thomas MLA said the news that he had offered Rs 100 crore to Kovoor Kunjumon and Antony Raju to align with NCP Ajit Pawar's faction is totally baseless. Thomas K Thomas responded that Antony Raju was behind the allegation and that he had misled the chief minister. Thomas K Thomas explained that Kovoor Kunjumon had responded correctly and that answer was enough to close the mouths of many people.

I don’t know Antony Raju’s enmity towards me. Antony Raju and his party had tried hard for the Kuttanad seat. Antony Raju attacked Thomas Chandy the most during his hard times and that too from the same front. Antony Raju has 100 percent misled the chief minister. The allegation is a fabricated story and Thomas K Thomas demanded a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

It is alleged that the Kuttanad MLA Thomas K Thomas made a move by offering Rs 50 crore to two MLAs to align with Ajit Pawar’s NCP. The chief minister had reported this to the CPM state secretariat. Thomas K Thomas has handed over a letter to the chief minister denying the allegation.

According to the complaint received by the chief minister, Thomas K Thomas offered MLAs Antony Raju (Democratic Kerala Congress) and Kovoor Kunjumon (RSP Leninist) Rs 50 crores each. He was invited to align with the BJP's ally NCP.
