THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Antony Raju MLA said that Thomas K Thomas is speaking in contradiction. Antony Raju was reacting to the controversy that Thomas K Thomas MLA had offered Rs 100 crore to Kovoor Kunjumon and himself to switch over to NCP's Ajit Pawar faction. On the allegation that he had misled the chief minister, Antony Raju said he had not. He said that it was true that Thomas K Thomas had offered a bribe but he got limitations in speaking out as he was standing in the front.
However, Antony Raju did not deny the bribery allegations. Antony Raju said that he has honestly told the chief minister what he knows, including the bribery allegations, and if there is a need to speak out, he will reveal everything. Antony Raju said that the chief minister is not someone who can be misled if he intends.
Meanwhile, Thomas K Thomas had said that Antony Raju was behind the bribery allegations and that he had misled the chief minister. Thomas K Thomas said that Kovoor Kunjumon had responded correctly and that reply was enough to silence many.
"I don't know what Antony Raju's animosity towards me is. Antony Raju and his party men had tried a lot for the Kuttanad seat. It was Antony Raju who attacked Thomas Chandy the most during his crisis. That too from the same front. Antony Raju has 100 per cent misled the Chief Minister."
Thomas K Thomas had said that the allegation is a fabricated story and demanded a thorough probe into the matter.
