South Indian actress and dubbing artist Raveena Ravi will soon get married to film director Devan Jayakumar. Both have announced the news through their respective social media accounts. Raveena is the daughter of singer and dubbing artist Raveendranath and famous dubbing artist Sreeja.

Raveena took baby steps in dubbing at the age of six by rendering voice to a child artist in the award-winning movie ‘Vanaprastham’. The same year, she worked as a child dubbing artist in the movie 'FIR'. Upon finishing the movie, Raveena took a sabbatical from the field and returned only in 2013 as a dubbing artist for the movie ‘Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal’.

Many assignments followed her way, the prominent being her dubbing for actress Nayanthara in the movie ‘Love Action Drama’.

She even worked on the film ‘Valatty’, directed by her beau Devan Jayakumar. Raveena later forayed into acting and made her presence felt in Tamil movies. Her biggest role was alongside Fahad Faasil in the movie ‘Maamannan’ while her character in 'Love Today' made her a popular face across Tamil Nadu.

Devan is the son of film director Jayan Mulangad and Sreekala. He entered film direction as an assistant director to V K Prakash in ad film shoots. Soon, Devan became the creative director of the movie ‘Hello Namasthe’ directed by his father Jayan.
