THRISSUR: The locals are shocked over the incident in which a husband committed suicide after hacking his wife to death in Thrissur's Thalore. Joju (50) of Poruthukkaran house hacked his wife Linju (36) to death and then hanged himself at his house.

The incident took place at around 3 pm today. Details about the incident, including the cause of the murder, are not clear. The police have launched an investigation. Statements are being taken from family members and neighbours. The police reached the spot and completed the inquest proceedings.
