CHITTUR: CPM activists convention in Kozhinjampara strongly criticized the dictatorial action of the CPM district secretary. In the convention held under the leadership of Kozhinjampara former local committee secretary and present panchayat president M Satheesh, district secretary E N Suresh Babu was severely criticized. Satheesh alleged that people who have been active in the party for years are being avoided and people who came from Congress are being treated undeservedly.

The district secretary behaves arrogantly towards the workers. There has been a practice of treating people working at the lower level of the party as slaves for years. 28 out of the 35-member branch secretaries of Kozhinjampara local committee II participated in the meeting. The party had complained several times to the state unit against the dictatorship tendencies of the district secretary. Satheesh said that this is under the consideration of the state committee. Wrong things are being imposed against the party organization system. It is unacceptable for party systems to interfere with ordinary workers with the arrogance and philosophy that they are under their control. Satheesh added that the party cannot continue as communist slaves and will act according to the decision of the state committee.

About 500 people attended the event held at the private convention center. Satheesh said the leadership is taking the approach of accusing those raising allegations.
