KOCHI: Police have arrested a man who attempted to kill a woman by slitting her throat. The arrested person has been identified as Mulavukadu native Deepu. Deepu attempted to murder Ernakulam Eloor native Sindhu.

According to the police, Deepu attempted to kill Sindhu following a dispute over the rent of the autorickshaw owned by Sindhu. Sindhu, who sustained an injury in the attack, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ernakulam.
