guinness-world-record

KOLLAM: Guinness World Record for the mother first and now for the daughter. The house named Guinness Valley where this distinctive family lives, is in Kollam Kadakkal. In 2017, memory trainer Shanti set a record by rearranging 45 irregularly arranged objects in one minute. Last month, her 10-year-old daughter Yami, shocked mathematicians while juggling.

Yami took only 5 minutes and 41.09 seconds to recall the 560 positions of the Euler number, which goes 2.7182818284... The Guinness World Records authority had asked her to recall the first 500 digits while juggling three balls. The performance was held at Kadakkal Town LPS on October 6, in front of Guinness representatives. The certificate will be received soon.

Last year, Yami set a national record for recalling the tenure of Indian prime ministers, including the year, month and date. Yami is a class 5 student of Kadakkal Government UPS. Her coaches are her mother and her father Anith Surya, who is a psychological counsellor. Yami completed her training in three months. Her siblings are Yani and Yanvi

Behind the name of the house

The house was named Guinness when it was built after Shanti won a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
