KOZHIKODE: BJP's Kozhikode district secretary T Rineesh said that what he meant was public workers including ministers, should take Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as a lesson and learn from him. The minister had seen and listened to the BJP workers who met him. He left after listening to and answering everything the workers wanted to hear.
Leaders of any party reach positions as a result of the hard work of ordinary and poor people. Rineesh also clarified that he deleted the Facebook post as per the directive of the leadership.
Rineesh’s Facebook post said that many of the BJP's union ministers from Kerala do not even smile at party workers. Rineesh's Facebook post was that even if they have done nothing for the party workers, they should have the courage to listen to what they have to say and pat them on the back and tell them that they will try.
Such people should understand that all the comforts they enjoy are the result of the sacrifices of many. See what happened when Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav arrived in Kozhikode the other day. He saw all the people waiting with petitions and clearly listened to what they had to say. A different experience that many who have become ministers in the name of the party from Kerala do not get. The post also said that we can see many who do not smile towards the workers who work hard day and night to grow this party, as well as on public issues. The post was removed after the incident stoked a controversy.
