PATHANAMTHITTA: A campaign video for Palakkad UDF candidate Rahul Mamkoottathil was shared on the Pathanamthitta CPM Facebook page, which boasts nearly 63,000 followers. The video appeared with the caption, “Palakkad enna snehavismayam” (Palakkad, a wonder of love). Once the error was noticed, the video was promptly removed from the page later that night.

CPM Pathanamthitta district secretary, KP Udayabhanu, responded to the incident, alleging that the page is not an official one and labeling it as fake. He further stated that the party would pursue legal action over the matter.

The page in question, which was created on March 29, 2013, claims to be the official Pathanamthitta CPM page and has consistently shared CPM-related content for years. However, the identity of the page's administrator remains unknown.
