PATNA: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday attempted to touch the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi much to the surprise of those on the stage. The incident took place during a public program held in Darbhanga district. The video of the incident is currently going viral on social media.

The video shows 73-year-old Nitish Kumar attempting to touch the feet of Modi while returning to his seat after delivering a speech. However, Modi quickly stopped Nitish Kumar from touching his feet and gave him a handshake.

Meanwhile, another video from the event has also gone viral on social media. The video shows Modi pulling the Bihar CM to his side as party workers garland him. The Prime Minister was in Darbhanga to inaugurate the foundation stone laying ceremony of AIIMS. At the event, he also inaugurated several projects that will be implemented at a cost of Rs 12,100 crore.
