PATHANAMTHITTA: The special investigation team investigating the death of Kannur ADM Naveen Babu recorded the statements of Naveen Babu's family members on Thursday. The investigation team comprising Kannur Town CI Sreejith Koderi, SCPO Shaiju, CPO Shiji and driver Mani arrived at Naveen Babu's house in Malayalappuzha at around 12.20 pm on Thursday. The team went to Naveen Babu's house after obtaining permission from the Collectorate.

The investigation team recorded the statements of Naveen's wife Manjusha and brother Praveen Babu. Naveen's children Niranjana and Nirupama, Manjusha's uncle Balakrishnan Nair and his son Gireesh were also present at home. The team returned at 2.30 pm.

Naveen Babu was found hanging in his quarters in Kannur on October 15 a day after former Kannur district panchayat president PP Divya levelled corruption allegations against him during his farewell ceremony.
