PALAKKAD: Sandeep Varier said that he will never get tired of seeing elephant, Mohanlal and K Muraleedharan, no matter how many times he sees them. Sandeep addressed K Muraleedharan as Muraliyettan. While attending a public programme in Sreekrishnapuram, he said K Karunakaran is his favourite chief minister. Muraleedharan listened to his words with tears in his eyes.

‘The Malayalees will never get tired of these four--elephant, sea, Mohanlal and K Muraleedharan. The Malayalees give the most importance to these four in their minds. I wanted to meet Muraliyettan in person. I need his blessings, love and support. That is why I came here. Even when I was in the BJP, I have said that K Karunakaran is the chief minister who has contributed the most to Kerala. I don’t pay attention to the allegations levelled by the BJP. I am a congressman now,' he said.

K Muraleedharan also responded to the media after holding him close. 'The party will be with him for all his subsequent activities. He will remain an asset of the party. He has already declared his support for Rahul Gandhi. We do not need anything more than that. Rahul Gandhi is the hope of India. Since the day he decided to stand with him, we have supported him. I am one who speaks openly, but whatever the party's decision, I will abide by it. Sandeep Varier has completely turned a congressman. His entry has gained strength for our family. Our party will always exist,' said Muraleedharan.
