PALAKKAD: LDF candidate Dr P Sarin said the expected polling was not witnessed in Palakkad this time. He said the LDF will garner a good win and the UDF will be pushed to the third position. He said this while talking to the media in connection with the polls held in Palakkad the other day.

'It is a relief mixed with enthusiasm. It is true that the expected number of votes was not polled. People who did not vote earlier voted this time. They came wishing for a new candidate. The number of people who voted for the LDF and responded publicly is also more this time. There is no doubt that those who get 50,000 votes will win.

The LDF has already received 40,000 political votes. Since being an independent candidate, will also get 10,000 more votes. The LDF will get more votes this time than it did in the last assembly elections. Will easily get 50,000 votes. The UDF will be pushed to the third place. The party will also get a majority in the Kannadi Panchayat,' said Sarin.
