WANDOOR: Police detained school teacher and actor Nazer Karutheni alias Abdul Nazer (55) for molesting a minor student. He was arrested by the Wandoor police under POCSO in a case of molesting a 10th-class girl student at Girls' High School.

The parents of the victim had earlier filed a complaint after she opened up about the harassment to them. The police waited no time and arrested Nazer after doing a preliminary inquiry. The accused will be produced before the court after completion of the medical examination.

Nazer has acted in popular movies including ‘THE GOAT LIFE’, Sudani from Nigeria, and Halal Love Story.
