AMARAVATI: A tragic incident unfolded during a wedding celebration in Penumudu village, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, as a young man collapsed and died while presenting a gift to the groom. The deceased, identified as Vamsi, was a Bengaluru-based Amazon employee who had traveled to attend his friend’s wedding.

The joyous atmosphere turned somber when Vamsi began losing his balance as the groom opened the gift presented by him and other friends. Nearby attendees rushed to support him but Vamsi collapsed moments later. Disturbing footage from the event shows Vamsi seeking help before falling unconscious.

He was immediately rushed to the Dhone City Government Hospital but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The sudden demise of Vamsi has brought attention to the increasing cases of young individuals without prior health conditions succumbing to unexpected deaths. According to Dr. Ravi Gupta, consultant cardiologist at Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central, factors such as sedentary lifestyles, air pollution, excessive physical exertion, and steroid usage significantly contribute to heart attacks among the youth.

Dr. Gupta emphasized that Indians are genetically predisposed to heart ailments and the adoption of Western lifestyles has further heightened these risks.
