THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested a Badminton coach for sexually assaulting a minor Badminton player in Thiruvananthapuram. The arrested person, Pangode native Jose George, was produced in court today. He was later sent to police custody as per the request of the Poojappura police.

The accused took the girl to his home under the pretext of theory class. He then sexually assaulted the girl and captured her naked photos. The accused sexually assaulted the victim multiple times by threatening to send these naked pictures to the girl's family and friends. The incident came to light when the girl’s relatives grew suspicious of her behaviour and inquired about the matter. Following this, the family filed a complaint with the police.
