THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police arrested a youth who tried to smuggle the deadly drug MDMA. Riju (30) of Kannamoola, Chennilode, TC 14/1807, Saritha Nilayam, was arrested by the medical college police with the help of SAGOC (special action group against organized crimes). He was transporting MDMA from Bengaluru to the city by bus and was selling it in the state.

Five grams of MDMA were recovered from the house of the youth, who had been under surveillance for days. The police had also arrested a youth named Sadaqath Ali with more than five grams of MDMA the other day in a raid conducted by the police to nab drug dealers in the city.
