KOZHIKODE: Haridas, father of Neema, who was attacked by her husband Rahul, the accused in the Pantheerankavu domestic violence case, came forward with more allegations. While talking to the media, he said that his son-in-law Rahul is a cruel man.

He said that after the case was dismissed, he did not go after them and thought let them live together. He said the police called him on Monday at 9:30 pm saying that his daughter is in the hospital after attacked and asked him to reach the hospital as early as possible. He immediately left his home and reached the hospital at 1:30 am. Saw a bruise on his daughter's lip. He said that she was hit on her head. Rahul even beat his daughter in the ambulance. He also revealed that the doctors told him that Rahul's mother was not willing to do anything they told her.

He said Rahul took her home in the first case after bringing her to his side and calling her ‘honey’, ‘babes’ and that he had written down everything that his daughter had said against her family on her YouTube channel earlier.

Neema of Ernakulam, was brutally beaten by her husband Rahul as the fish curry she made had no salt and tamarind in it. The police had arrested him yesterday. The woman, who sustained injuries on her eyes and face, was taken to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital from her husband's house on Monday night. Rahul, who fled from there, was taken into custody by the Pantheerankavu police for creating a ruckus in a public place after drinking alcohol. Meanwhile, the woman and her father filed a complaint. He was arrested under the charges of domestic violence and attempt to murder.

Although the hospital authorities informed the police about the attack, the woman insisted that she has no complaint and wanted to go home. However, the police informed her parents. After being discharged from the hospital, she filed a complaint with the police Tuesday morning. Neema's complaint is that Rahul had been constantly beating her. Will not allow her to call her parents. The complaint also said that he had broken her phone.

Haridas alleged that Rahul had abducted and threatened her to retract her statement in the first case. He did not talk to his daughter much after the court verdict. Whenever he called, Rahul would pick up the phone. He also clarified that his daughter had said that she would not live with Rahul again.

The first domestic harassment case against Rahul was quashed by the high court a month and a half ago. This was after the woman retracted her statement that her husband had not abused her. After that, the two started living in Rahul's house. They got married on May 5 in 2023.
