KOZHIKODE: More information surface on the incident in which a body of a woman from Malappuram was found inside a lodge at Eranhipaalam in Kozhikode. The police have found that the accused Abdul Sanoof used his friend's car, which he took for rent. The accused reached the lodge with the woman in the car and later fled from there. The police recorded a detailed statement of his friend.
Fazeela of Pattikkad in Vettathur, Malappuram, was found dead in a room in the lodge the other day. A postmortem conducted at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital revealed that it was a murder. The postmortem report said Fazeela was strangled to death. Abdul Sanoof, who was staying in the lodge with Fazeela, is still missing. The investigating officers are also examining the possibility that he may have left the state. The police have registered a case against Abdul Sanoof for the murder.
