KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has clarified that rolling coconuts at Malikappuram and strewing turmeric around the temple should not cause inconvenience to other devotees. The high court has informed the Sabarimala Police Coordinator that legal action may be taken in the incident of taking photos after standing on the holy steps (pathinettampadi). The Devaswom Bench of Justices Anil K Narendran and S Muralikrishna gave the instructions.

The high court had the other day pointed that the sanctity of the temple should be protected and rituals should be followed. The government had then clarified yesterday that Sreejith would appear in person.
Meantime, the KSRTC informed the high court that action was taken against the employees in the incident of a KSRTC low-floor bus catching fire in Nilakkal.
