KANNUR: A young man met a tragic end after his car fell into a pond in Angadikadavu Kannur on Tuesday. Emmanuel (24), a native of Angadikadavu died in the incident. It was heavily raining and a tree branch fell on the road, right in front of the car. Emmanuel attempted to divert the vehicle from not hitting the branch, which resulted in the car losing control and falling into a pond.

The accident happened around 6 am this morning. The incident took place between Angadikadavu and Anapanthy. Locals rushed to the spot and took out the youngster from the car. Despite rushing to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
