THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that heavy rains have subsided in the state. The IMD has informed that there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Idukki of Kerala in the next three hours.


Fishermen alerted
The IMD has informed that there is no obstacle to fishing on the Kerala-Karnataka coasts today (04/12/2024), and fishing should not be done in the Lakshadweep area today (04/12/2024) and tomorrow (05/12/2024).

Strong winds with a speed of 35 to 45 kmph and at times up to 55 kmph are possible in the Lakshadweep area today (04/12/2024) and tomorrow (05/12/2024).

04/12/2024: Strong winds of speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph and at times 55 kmph and bad weather is likely over Lakshadweep area, adjoining southeast Arabian Sea and southern parts of east central Arabian Sea.

05/12/2024: Strong winds of speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph and at times 55 kmph and bad weather is likely over northern parts of southeast Arabian Sea, adjoining Lakshadweep area, adjoining east central Arabian Sea and southwest Arabian Sea.

06/12/2024: Strong winds of speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph and at times 55 kmph and bad weather is likely over northern parts of south Arabian Sea. The IMD has also informed that fishing is not recommended in these areas on the above dates.
