KOCHI: Actor Dileep has drawn flak from the Kerala High Court for the VIP treatment given to him in Sabarimala. The court criticised the actor’s darshan under VIP treatment. Saying that the matter cannot be seen lightly, the court sought an explanation from the devaswom board. The court also directed to produce the CCTV footage of the incident. The high court directed the board to inform their reply by this afternoon.

Actor Dileep visited Sabarimala yesterday. He offered prayers just before the temple closed at night. Dileep returned after the temple closed with harivarasanam. Dileep had visited Sabarimala in previous years as well. The high court is now examining whether Dileep received VIP treatment.

Meantime, two of Dileep's films are getting ready for release. Prince and Family and Bha Bha Ba are Dileep's films that are set to release next year. The shooting of Prince and Family has been completed. The film, directed by Binto Stephen, also stars Siddique, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Bindu Panicker in lead roles.
