THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police are likely to launch an investigation into the leak of some school question papers for the Christmas exams. Education Minister V Sivankutty said that the General Education Director would lodge a complaint with the DGP and the Cyber Cell regarding the leak of the question papers online. The leaked questions, including those for SSLC English and Plus One Mathematics examinations, appeared on a YouTube channel.

"This is a serious issue. The culprits will be brought before the law. A high-level meeting will convene tomorrow to discuss departmental actions," the minister said. He also mentioned that education officers have been instructed to investigate private tuition classes conducted by teachers and submit a report.

Question paper preparation

For public exams
Two sets of question papers will be prepared for the Higher Secondary Second Year and five sets for the SSLC. After printing the question papers at a confidential press outside the state, the SSLC question papers will be delivered to the DEO office and the Plus Two question papers to the exam centres.
