LUCKNOW: A FIR has been registered against a BJP leader on a sexual abuse complaint of a woman, at gunpoint. The woman from Delhi in her complaint alleged that she was sexually abused by the leader from Mathura on the pretext of offering her a job.
The case has been registered against the BJP Kisan Morcha former national executive member and member of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha leader. Meantime, the BJP leader has denied the allegations. He said the allegations are baseless and an attempt to tarnish his image.
The woman in her complaint said that she met him through Facebook. 'We have been friends for four years. He is the founder of an NGO. Last September, we discussed matters related to some projects in the NGO. He asked me to come to Mathura on September 14 as part of my work. On that day, I reached Narhauli along with a friend. From there, the BJP leader and his colleague took us to G S Farm on Govardhan Road in a vehicle. We held discussions in a room there.
He then said that he has to discuss some work-related matters with me and closed the door after asking my friend and his colleague to go out of the room. He then pulled out a gun and sexually abused me after threatening me. He threatened to kill me if revealed the incident to anyone. He then dropped us at the bus stand and asked me to come alone the next time,' her complaint said.
The woman said that she had filed a police complaint the very next day, but due to his influence, the cops ignored her complaint. The woman said that she continuously reminded the cops but no action was taken. She later filed a complaint with the higher authorities in Delhi. An FIR was registered against the BJP leader three months after the incident. The police said she would soon be produced before a magistrate to record her statement. The police also stated that the investigation into the incident is progressing.
