THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Education Department has appointed a six-member committee to conduct an investigation into the question paper leak of some of the subjects of the SSLC and Plus Two Christmas exams. General Education Minister V Sivankutty said that a six-member committee led by the Director of General Education has been appointed to conduct the investigation. The committee should conduct the investigation and submit a report to the government in one month. The minister said that he had discussed the matter with the Chief Minister.

"The seriousness of the issue has been brought to the attention of the Chief Minister. Any lapses in the distribution of question papers will be addressed. The Director of General Education had met the DGP in person and filed a complaint the other day," V Sivankutty said.

"The investigation will also look into the private tuition of teachers. Some teachers spend half their time in school and the other half in tuition classes. Strict action will be taken against them. The private tuition centre, MS Solutions, crossed the limits of decency. Their only goal was selfish profit," the minister added.
