TBILISI: Eleven Indians died after inhaling toxic gas at a resort in Georgia. The incident occurred at an Indian-owned resort in Gudauri. Preliminary information suggests that the cause of death was carbon monoxide inhalation. The Indian Embassy in Tbilisi released the information about the deaths. The Georgian police have stated that they will investigate all aspects, including the possibility of foul play.

The deceased were all staff members of an Indian hotel operating on the second floor of the resort. They were found dead near the hotel's recreation centre.
