ELAVUMTHITTA: A young man died tragically after his bike crashed into an electric pole in Kidangannoor on Monday night. Ruku Rajan (30), son of Rajan, from Ullannoor, died in the accident. The accident happened last night at nine at Kidangannoor Poovanamootil. Ruku was returning home from Aranmula after completing a painting work.

The speeding bike lost control and crashed into the pole. The impact of the crash even broke down the pole. Ruku was rushed to the hospital but his life could not be saved. It is suspected that the bike may have lost control and hit the post after Ruku suffered from epilepsy.

Ruku leaves behind his wife Chinnu and two children aged seven and two.
