ADIMALI: A Malayali nursing student under treatment for fever collapsed and died on Wednesday in Chennai. Adimali Chattupara native Kripa Eldhose (21), a fourth-year nursing student at Chennai SRM College, died in the incident.

Kripa had been taking medicines for fever for the last three days but she tragically collapsed at her friend's house around 8.30 pm on Tuesday. She was then rushed to hospital but her life couldn’t be saved. Doctors confirmed that the cause of death was a heart attack. The body will be brought to her home in Kerala on Wednesday morning. The funeral will occur at 3 pm at St. George Jacobite Syrian Cathedral, Adimali.

Kripa is the daughter of Eldhose, a retired officer of Adimali Service Cooperative Bank and Mini. She has two brothers Elmin and Alan.
